
GMAIL’S PREVIOUS SINGLE PANEL VIEW:
The previous single-side panel gave access to a menu of various Gmail options and labels (Inbox, Starred, Trash, etc.). By clicking on the three-line icon on the upper left. The previous side panel view consumes less space on your screen than the new one.
GMAIL’S NEW SIDE PANEL VIEW:
In Gmail’s new update Google added a new side panel that gives easy access to several apps: Mails, Chats, Space, and Meet. A new side panel covers your screen more than the previous one. If two panels are irritating you to use your Gmail account so, you can also close one panel by clicking on the three-line icon in the upper left, and the categories of that panel will disappear. If you want your two panels back then click on the three-line icon again.
GET RID OF THE APPS PANEL:
Don’t want to use Google Meet, Space, and chats? It’s very easy to get rid of their extra apps and the extra panel.
- Select Settings > Customize.
- You’ll be invited to choose which apps to use in Gmail. Uncheck Google Chat and Google Meet and click on Done.
- Click on Reload
