The clock app on iPad or iPhone is a great application for tracking your sleep and waking you up in the morning. Telemart has come up with various tips so that you get the most out of your application.
Alarms:
To set up an alarm on the clock app is the most easiest feature to activate on this application.
- Open Clock on your iPhone.
- Tap the Alarm tab on the bottom
- Tap the Plus icon in the upper-right corner
The clock app enables you to set your alarm when you want it to go off and to put it on repeat if you want.
If you wake up at the same time every day then it will be convenient for you to put it on the repeat mode.
Apple also lets you label your alarms so you can differentiate between multiple ones and keep track of time.
You can also select your favorite sound from the Apple’s ringtone library.
Moreover, Apple also lets you decide if you want a Snooze toggle with your alarm or not. If it is on then you will get a few extra minutes of bedtime and if it is off then you will only be able to turn your alarm off and not snooze it.
One amazing feature of the Clock app is that it automatically detects the public holidays based on the calendar app. It will alert you about the public holidays and ask you if you want to edit your alarm.
Sleep and Bedtime:
The clock application now tracks your sleep schedule as well through your alarms. It gives you a “wind down” reminder which helps you get to bed on time.
You can set up sleep schedule in the Health App
- Open the Health app.
- Tap Browse then Sleep.
- Tap Sleep Schedule under Your Schedule.
- Tap the toggle next to Sleep Schedule.
You can set how many hours of sleep you want and set your sleep and wake up timers using the clock slider.
Wind Down Shortcuts:
The best feature of the Sleep Schedule and Clock app is the wind down feature which helps you to relax before sleeping. You can add mindfulness, meditation apps, journaling or music streaming applications for this purpose on your lock screen for an easy access.
To setup up go to Health > Sleep > Wind Down Shortcuts
