Apple has announced an iCloud Shared Photo Library. Its main goal is to make it effortless and simple to share your photos and content with your friends and family in the newly released iOS 16.
A shared iCloud Photo Library can easily be created in an iOS 16. You can also invite more than five friends (who own Apple devices) and make them participants in viewing, contributing, and editing photos.
You get notifications from iOS 16 in case you’ve made an iCloud Shared Photo Library that other friends can view, contribute, and edit photos already. You get notified every time a photo contributed by you to the library is deleted by another one of the participants of your iCloud Shared Photo Library.
On the other hand, you can choose to disable these notifications in case you’re already receiving them. The following steps show you how to turn them on or off.

- Launch the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap Photos.
- Under “Library,” tap Shared Library.
- Toggle the switch on or off next to Deletion Notifications to enable or disable them.
There you go. Your job here is done. The changes have been made and edited now and will come into effect in an instant. Keep in mind the iCloud storage space of the person who created the iCloud Shared Photo Library will be used for storage.
