A Microsoft worker seems to have unintentionally declared that Windows 11’s Notebook application is getting a tabs highlight. The worker, a senior item director at Microsoft, posted a photograph of a version of Notebook with tabs, excitedly declaring “Notepad in Windows 11 currently has tabs!” with an amplifier emoji.
The tweet was erased minutes after the fact, yet not before Windows Central and a few Windows devotees, Twitter accounts had recognized the error. The Notepad screen capture incorporates a Microsoft inside advance notice: “Classified Don’t examine highlights or take screenshots.” That cautioning recommends the tabs highlight is still in early internal testing at Microsoft, yet that the Notebook tabs element might show up to Windows Insiders eventually in mid-2023.
On the off chance that Microsoft continues with tabs for Notepad, it will be the first implicit application to get a selected point of interaction after Microsoft added tabs to File Explorer recently. Microsoft initially tried tabs across all Windows 10 applications quite a while back in a component named Sets.
