A forthcoming Samsung gadget is supposedly shown in a new round of leaked images in a variety of eye-catching hues. The Tech Outlook (seen by XDA-Developers) is the source of the leak, which shows the Galaxy A34 with some respectable midrange specifications, including a 6.5-inch 1080p OLED, a 48-megapixel main camera, and an Exynos CPU. However, the color choices—Lime and Purple—are what excite me. Pearlescent! It’s about damn time that the future of inexpensive phones takes on more color if these renders are to be believed.
Recently, phone manufacturers decided that people in the United States, particularly those on a tight budget, only wanted black phones. A glance through Samsung’s current A-series lineup reveals that the majority of models are only available in one color: black. Or awesome black, which appears to be nothing more than black with a silly name. When you upgrade to the S22 series or a Z Flip 4, you get a lot more color options, such as burgundy, purple, and any other combination you can think of for the foldable.
Apple and Google fare slightly better. The iPhone SE 2022 comes in black, white, and red, while the Pixel 6A comes in black, white, and sage. Not exactly like lime. Other OEMs, such as Motorola and OnePlus, stick to a black-phone-plus-something-else formula for flagships, but the lower the price range, the less colorful it gets.
